From software delivery to AI leadership
I started as a software developer in 2000, automating internet services for an ISP in Lancashire. That experience taught me to understand how work moves through a system and where it gets stuck.
I moved into development management, delivery, solution architecture and product leadership. Since joining ITV in 2010, I have worked across online services, technology platforms, content operations and enterprise architecture.
My new role builds on several years of work in intelligent automation, AI governance and ITV’s AI Agent Hub. I work with colleagues across Technology, Group Data, Legal, Privacy and Group Risk and Controls.
I help teams understand AI, test where it can add value and put the right safeguards in place. That work often sits between strategy, architecture, product, data, engineering and security.

Lancashire, mountains and football
I am a lifelong Morecambe Football Club supporter and spent a season training as a snowboard instructor in British Columbia. I also enjoy travel, photography and a strong cup of Yorkshire tea.
